Vehicle Overview
Work performed under previous ownership included repainting the body, refinishing the interior, and overhauling the engine, suspension, and brake components. This W113 is offered with factory books, a tool kit, service records, and a clean California title. The car was disassembled and repainted in its current shade of red under previous ownership.
A replacement black soft top was fitted, and the body was reassembled with replacement seals, rubber trim, and gaskets. The chrome is said to have been redone, and the Euro-spec lights were cleaned and reinstalled with replacement seals. Additional equipment includes a black Pagoda hardtop, dual side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Steel 14? wheels wear single-piece covers with body-color centers and are mounted with 205/75 Michelin Radial tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs. Work done includes replacing the brake booster, bushings, tie-rod ends, and shocks. The cabin features bucket seats that were reupholstered in black MB-Tex and are accompanied by replacement carpets. The dashboard wood and upholstery were also repaired. Interior appointments include a Becker Mexico radio, an analog clock, a floor-mounted gear shifter, and a heater.
The Nardi steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation, which was reportedly removed, cleaned, and reinstalled during the refurbishment. Gauges include a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and vertically oriented instruments for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 31k miles.
The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six was reportedly rebuilt under previous ownership. Additional service is said to have included replacing the camshaft, radiator, water pump, alternator, distributor cap, spark plug wires, and engine and transmission mounts. Service performed by the selling dealer included changing the oil, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and rear differential fluid. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. A replacement exhaust system has been installed.
