Rare totally restored pristine 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. The EB was built as a statement car for Cadillac over two years. At $13,074 it was $2000 more expensive than a Rolls-Royce and five time higher than a Chevy Belair. Each car was assembled by hand and shared no body parts with any other car. Brougham production was only 400 in 1957 and cost Cadillac a staggering $25,000 each to build. General Motors was willing to absorb the loss in order to try to dominate the luxury segment. These cars were favored by the wealthy as one might expect. Bob Hope, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra and Aristotle Onassis were a few of the owners. The Brougham featured many technological advances and luxury items such as vanities for the lady, electronic memory seats, power opening and closing trunk, etc. This car, finished with the standard stainless roof is accented by a beautiful dark blue correct exterior and grey-blue leather.
